Postgresql. When using the written BLOG instructions. The Postgresql DB is not connecting properly. Seems to be the DB maybe not getting created. Am trying to learn the Rails so not really sure how to correct. I know manually I can initialize the. DB storage area on a. manual postgresql. Not sure how to properly do this with all. the docker layers. Because of this I cannot get application up so cannot really understand everything. It would be nice if you. could offer a fix or what to do explanation. Additionally, if you could add just a small blurb after your statement I have two windows up one to start everything and one for the application db, create, migrate. Sadly , this is where my problem in understanding is so happens where problem is. I am tyring to see if I was coding ruby on rails how all this stuff works. It llooks really useful. I am more spring boot / java type person trying to learn rails and this is pretty slick for me to learn / deploy etc. IF You could take five minutes to help?! :).

FYI I get the same issue just manually doing the postgresql, so probably not your code but needs to be fixed via your docker config initialization. I think postgresql now requires a DB init or something .
