Purpose:
Add more structure to the repo, especially related to images.

This is a more abstract issue, so let's first discuss ideas in this thread. Do you have thoughts on this @dastrong @Phoenix-Alpha @margaretmwaura ? And do you think it'd be a good idea to migrate the images to e.g. Azure over time?
