-Last years solution was a direct connection between the 48V power supply and the ROV. This worked, so we must determine if any of the following items are necessary. Talk to Will.
-Design a relay board that switches the ROV from being connected between the Power supply and a load. This could be controlled and powered by the above water Jetson. Could also feature and E-stop that switches to the load. Need a relay that can handle our full wattage.
-Design a load that would drain power from the ROV during shutdown to reduce shut off time.
-Design an in-rush current limiter. When the ROV is first powered on, all of the empty capacitors will cause an initial current spike. Consider what our max current draw should be. Needs to operate at 48v.
-Consider hardware/components already available in EE labs at Mines
