Error messages aren't useful to end users in the slightest

Current error messages pin point where in the errors lie in the internal representation, but that isn't mapped back to the user's templates. This is fine for use by those familiar with the instruction array (errors in templates are reported as an index in the instruction array) but essentially useless to those who aren't.
