Cannot show the GridSplitter control programmatically

Hello,

I'm using the GridSplitter control (8.0.240109). If I add it in XAML everything works fine. But if I try to programmatically create the GridSplitter it does not show.

XAML code, works fine:

<Grid x:Name="mainGrid">
    <Grid.RowDefinitions>
        <RowDefinition Height="Auto" />
        <RowDefinition Height="*" />
    </Grid.RowDefinitions>

    <TextBlock Grid.Row="0" Text="1" />

    <Border Grid.Row="1">
        <TextBlock Text="2" />
    </Border>

    <controlsUI:GridSplitter
        Grid.Row="1"
        Height="16"
        VerticalAlignment="Top"
        ResizeBehavior="BasedOnAlignment"
        ResizeDirection="Auto">
        <controlsUI:GridSplitter.RenderTransform>
            <TranslateTransform Y="-7" />
        </controlsUI:GridSplitter.RenderTransform>
    </controlsUI:GridSplitter>

</Grid>

If I try to create the above programmatically:

 public void Create()
 {
     mainGrid.RowDefinitions.Add(new RowDefinition() { Height = GridLength.Auto });
     mainGrid.RowDefinitions.Add(new RowDefinition() { Height = new GridLength(1, GridUnitType.Star) });

     var textBlock1 = new TextBlock() { Text = "1" };
     textBlock1.SetValue(Grid.RowProperty, 0);
     mainGrid.Children.Add(textBlock1);

     var border = new Border();
     border.SetValue(Grid.RowProperty, 1);
     var textBlock2 = new TextBlock() { Text = "2" };
     border.Child = textBlock2;
     mainGrid.Children.Add(border);  

     var gridSplitter = new GridSplitter()
     {
         VerticalAlignment = VerticalAlignment.Top,
         Height = 16,
         ResizeBehavior = GridSplitter.GridResizeBehavior.BasedOnAlignment,
         ResizeDirection = GridSplitter.GridResizeDirection.Auto,
         RenderTransform = new TranslateTransform()
         {
             Y = -7
         }
     };

     gridSplitter.SetValue(Grid.RowProperty, 1);
     mainGrid.Children.Add(gridSplitter);
 }

The code will only show 2 TextBlocks, the GridSplitter is not shown. Is there something wrong with my code?
