I try to find out the function of the menue item "directory". Does it have a Special purpose?

@datenwort topics can be organized in a hierarchy by assigning sub-topics to a topic (see section about topic structure in the user documentation). The top level topics of such a hierarchy will be shown in the 'directory' tab.
