It would be nice to make attendance searchable and filterable by date, type, etc. Would also be cool to search for specific users?

Are you referring to the individual's list of attendances on /dashboard or the attendance view that EBoard has with each event and person logged?

Search is mostly useful on the eboard page, since the list for individuals tends to be small enough to be easily scannable.
