Can't beam video to Roku or Firestick

Hello,
I've been trying to use ConnectSDK with my Roku bundle but it doesn't work. I've made a simple use-case where I connect to ROKU using the "Roku protocol" and not the DIAL.
Once connected I try to play a video, the Roku starts up but the video doesn't show on the TV.
