Sometimes existing ISSNs are not associated to the journals, e.g. with the e-ISSN "1873-765X" of Computer & Operations Research a call to http://api.crossref.org/journals/1873-765X does not find the journal (Resource not found.). The journal can only be found with the p-ISSN "0305-0548": http://api.crossref.org/journals/0305-0548
Also when looking for an article, e.g. http://api.crossref.org/works/10.1016/j.cor.2021.105441 the e-ISSN is not given.
On https://portal.issn.org/resource/ISSN/1873-765X the e-ISSN is resolved to the journal and the p-ISSN is listed as the ISSN-L ( (https://www.issn.org/understanding-the-issn/assignment-rules/the-issn-l-for-publications-on-multiple-media/). Would it be possible to sync the ISSN associated by CrossRef with the ISSN of issn.org so that either ISSN can be used to find the journal?
