Many of us want dwarfs to be working majority of the time so I'm asking for this feature to be toggle on and off or whatever's more convenient. I think this is a good idea.
Embark starts with 7 max population
When 4/7 dwarfs are idle = popup alert
Eventually we get migrants so the maximum population of the dwarfs increases but that's all right I'm happy with manually inputting the amount of idle dwarfs variable for the condition to be checked. For example I can modify the 4 while the 7 automatically increments upon having the population grow in the fort. As for what is considered idle I leave that up to the experts I simply don't like when my dwarfs have no jobs.
I realize there are modifications that Make your dwarf spend less idle time in between tasks however sometimes the user needs to be reminded there are no tasks for the dwarfs to undertake as none have been created for them.

I decided not to follow through with this suggestion. I don't want it anymore so I closed it. Unless people think it's a good idea I might work on creating the program. At the moment I'm working on a script called autowheelbarrow.lua which I found much more useful than this.
