Construction of wing structure fails

I have stumbled upon this case where the construction of the wing structure fails depending on the chordwise position of the spars.

This is the error message I got, which unfortunately didn't help me for debugging:

I have attached two files, one that works, the other one fails. The only difference is the chordwise position of the spars, therefore I would (carefully) assume the error is not in the input. I tested this in TiGL Viewer 3.4.0.
