goldensun the lostv ages bug MAJOR!!

after loading up it gets to the point were dialog is about to happenin i think the 3rd cutscene its like someone did a soft reset and it gives you the gba boot sequence and you go thru the whole new game sequence again anyone have a solution
ps this is the only game so far that has done this and the rom runs fine on pc emulator

also it wont read a .sav file i tryed to use to bypass the issue

I have the same problem with fresh installed Raspbian Wheezy and Emulationstation (RetroPie).
If you're skipping the intro to the lighthouse the game is crashing / making a soft reset.

Can someone test and verify this, please ?

Hi, is this thread still open?.
I'm experiencing the same issue. Golden Sun TLA resets just right after starting a new game. Music sounds weird also.
