User should be able to raise a request to cancel a running job

Sometimes the sync goes on for many hours even for a fairly small set of records (reference Ummeed sync showed 12 hours+ for ~1200 records)
IT will be good to have an option for the user to terminate the long running syncs from the Connections page.

Cancelling Prefect's sync job does not send a cancellation request to Airbyte

If we cancel directly with Airbyte then Prefect will report a crash

Is there a way we can submit a cancellation request to the Prefect sync job

Hi bringing this back up. Is this something we can close in the interim between cycles. I see multiple conversations on Discord where users need to reach out to us to cancel running syncs.

yes the issue is (duplicated) here
DalgoT4D/DDP_backend#948
and is on the project for next week, with a low priority in case we are doing a cwyd feature
