If the script can’t run in the root and I don’t necessary to install it |
I got the same error. Does anybody hear us and are going to solve it ? |
You can alternatively try genie, another alternative to installing systemd from within WSL which supports systemctl. |
At the moment I'm using Distrod https://github.com/nullpo-head/wsl-distrod really cool, waiting on a reply whether I can get systemctl --user working though |

I followed the instructions and running
systemctl
lists units, butsudo systemctl
returns"Failed to connect to bus: No data available"
