skysocks
app implements SOCKS5 functionality over skywire
net.
Any conventional SOCKS5 client should be able to connect to the
proxy client.
Currently the server supports authentication with a user and passcode pair
that are set in the configuration file.
If none are provided, the server does not require authentication.
Create 2 visor config files:
skywire1.json
{
"apps": [
{
"app": "skysocks",
"version": "1.0",
"auto_start": true,
"port": 3,
"args": ["-passcode", "123456"]
}
]
}
skywire2.json
{
"apps": [
{
"app": "skysocks-client",
"version": "1.0",
"auto_start": true,
"port": 33,
"args": ["-srv", "024ec47420176680816e0406250e7156465e4531f5b26057c9f6297bb0303558c7"]
}
]
}
Compile binaries and start 2 visors:
$ go build -o apps/skysocks.v1.0 ./cmd/apps/skysocks
$ go build -o apps/skysocks-client.v1.0 ./cmd/apps/skysocks-client
$ ./skywire-visor skywire1.json
$ ./skywire-visor skywire2.json
You should be able to connect to a secondary visor via curl
:
$ curl -v -x socks5://123456:@localhost:1080 https://api.ipify.org
