UG does not mention what the course and specialisation fields are used for which might confuse users. It is only mentioned in the DG which users will likely not read. Specialisation can be interpreted as specialisation in the field they are working in and courses can be interpreted as the course degree they are taking which is not as the developers have intended. This is especially important as the application is targeted not just at NUS Computing student but professionals too.

Team's Response

Our app targets users as "NUS computing students and professionals", meaning NUS students studying in school of computing and professionals graduated from NUS school of computing or working in NUS school of computing, who should know what course and specialisation are. We could be clearer by mentioning what course and specialisation are, but not mentioning it does not hinder the reader/user. Furthermore, since there are no restrictions on the formatting of user input on course and specialisation, the user can freely decide for themselves what it means by course and specialisation.
