After trying this out, I got this error:
[2016-04-28 18:15:20,992] ERROR Task directory-source-0 threw an uncaught and unrecoverable exception (org.apache.kafka.connect.runtime.WorkerSourceTask:362) [2016-04-28 18:15:20,992] ERROR Task is being killed and will not recover until manually restarted: (org.apache.kafka.connect.runtime.WorkerSourceTask:363) org.apache.kafka.connect.errors.DataException: state is not a valid field name
Kindly help with this. Thanks

Hi,
Thanks for reporting this. We moved on to incorporate the code in this repository in a bigger project, and this repository did not receive the small fix. I added it and you can try again now. Beware that this is a very unstable repository, and not frequently maintained either.
