Hello,

as Microsoft is magnificently showing us how to NOT create an app-store (like missing most essential features) it would be absolutley great to have app management implemented in Update Manager!

  • New tab for apps (beside Windows-Update tabs), showing available app-updates, option for installing them
  • option: Hiding selectable installed apps completly, not searching/offering updates for them anymore (as some apps couldn't be removed from system and 'cause of that should be banned in shadows forever)
    ...

As an alternative (or maybe better solution) the whole thing is worth for a new tool, "App Manager for Windows", beside Update Manager for Windows, working together for the freedom of choice! :-)
