how to cleanup auditlog_logentry.ibd? takes all disk space

The file auditlog_logentry.ibd seems to grow on its own at the speed of 16 gigs/month. There was no user/finding activity at all.

1. How to cleanup this database file?
2. How to prevent it from growing on its own?
