Similar to how we can tint art meshes, introducing more effects and parameters would be really fun to play with.

For example, we could have:

  • Grow [art meshes] by <multiplier> over <n> seconds (0 is instant)
  • Shrink [art meshes] by <multiplier> over <n> seconds (0 is instant)
  • Set opacity of [art meshes] to <number 0:1> over seconds (0 is instant)
  • Offset [art meshes] by <offset cordinates> over <n> seconds (0 is instant)

You can already set opacity of ArtMeshes via the API. As for the other parameters, do you have any interesting use-case for that? Any plugin you plan to make that would use that functionality?

Yep, I wanted to make an add on to cause chaos. Like every time I die an art mesh grows or shrinks by slightly. Like an invited disfunction. There might be other, more creative applications, but this was what I was thinking.

For examples of other creativity that can be made. Take the offset parameter. If we allow users to offset, say a crown. I could allow the crown to be taken away if something negative happens. This would enable a skit to ensue about losing it, frustration and various other shenanigans.
