I just tried upgrading to NixOS 23.11 and ran into some issues with Vault Agent. The upgrade results in Vault server being bumped to 2.15.0 which seems to not be compatible with the current version of Vault Agent.
Edit: I think I was wrong, its not the version of Vault Agent. I cat'd out the service and ran it manually and it seems to work; however something is definitely off with this and 23.11 cause none of the Vault Agent services are starting.

Seems like maybe getent isn't being put in the PATH for Vault Agent some how? I dunno.. I tried adding it to the system wide environment and its there but still get this in journalctl
