When I saw the video for the new polymorphic wands the first thing I thought of was ichun's Morph.
Thinking on it some more... it'd be a pretty nice feature to have for the wand to be able to also morph yourself into a different entity.
Just like Morph you could have it with restrictions, such as when you're morphed into an entity yourself, your get the same health and defense as the entity, and suffer the same curses (zombies and skeletons burn in sunlight, fishes suffocate on land, creepers get attacked by ocelots etcetcetc) but you also get certain boons (smaller size like rabbits, being able to fly as a bat, slowfall as chickens etcetcetc)
perhaps you could set it so this feature would act more like a potion and has a duration, and when the duration runs out you turn back unless you recast it.
