Device: oneplus2 (ONE A2005)
Version: 17.1-20231212-dos-oneplus2
Country: Australia

I cannot see any wifi networks that are using channels 12 or higher nor can I manually connect to them. I haven't inserted a sim into the phone yet which might fix this, but I was hoping for a way to manually set the location or enable the wifi channels with adb.

I tried using setprop to change the sim location, but I couldn't get access to root via adb. I also couldn't find any debug settings to fix this either.

Could allowing the user to select their location / wifi country be added to the settings?

This is a long standing upstream Android issue and cannot be easily fixed.

The different drivers don't support adjusting this all the same.
