System reboots infinetly if SD card is formatted as internal storage on Redmi Note 7 (lavender).

If you format SD card on Redmi Note 7 as internal storage, system will reboot everytime second after booting into the system, I guess failing to mount SD card.

Mainly decided to format it as internal storage for full encryption, if I use it as portable, it is not encrypted as far as I am aware.

I have the same issue. This may have been introduced by upstream and can be reproduced on lineage-18.1-20221025-nightly-lavender-signed.
