This came up because hidden characters were found in some Reported trait names that had been added via the depo-curation app. We should make sure that non-ASCII characters cannot be added in new trait names, including:

  1. Reported traits added manually to this page: https://www.ebi.ac.uk/gwas/depo-curation/reported-traits
  2. Reported traits added by bulk upload on the same page
  3. EFO trait names and URIs added manually to this page: https://www.ebi.ac.uk/gwas/depo-curation/efo-traits
  4. EFO trait names and URIs added by bulk upload on the same page
