I'm using Chrome 47.0.2526.80 on Mac OS X 10.11.1.

Sequence:

  1. I select some text in an Input window.
  2. I press the cmd key as the start of the cmd-c sequence (this differs from ctrl used on other platforms)
  3. I press the 'c' key to complete the cmd-c sequence.

Expected:
Post 1: text is selected
Post 2: nothing changes
Post 3: nothing visible changes, but the text is copied to the clipboard.

Actual:
Post 1: OK
Post 2: the selection disappears (the text remains, but there is now no selection)
Post 3: the text is actually copied to the clipboard, but the selection removal is disconcerting, so I initially didn't realise that.

We (Nick, Elizabeth, Ashley) experimented a bit looking for differences in the keyboard codes on the Mac, but didn't resolve this issue.

I assume Ctrl+C/V for copy paste, this must be Cmd+C/V on Mac. Simple check.
