Histogram for DSNU and PRNU

Hi, I wonder why do you use 'sum_dark' instead of average dark image? In EMVA1288 Release 4 document, page 16, it says "All histograms have to be computed from pixel values that come from averaging over many images." It says averaging, not summing. I am confused. Other histograms also have the same issue.
