First, I want to acknowledge the incredible value you've brought to the community with the HybridWebView experiment. It's a fantastic resource, and I'm genuinely grateful for your contribution.
I understand you're busy, especially with your responsibilities at Microsoft, like working on the .NET 9 HybridWebView. However, a bit of engagement here could make a significant difference. Many of us have adopted and experimented with your work, and we've encountered some challenges that could benefit from your insights—whether it's suggestions on resolving issues, reviewing pull requests, or simply providing a bit of feedback.
Even occasional input from you would mean a lot to those of us trying to push this forward. Thank you for considering this, and I hope to hear from you soon.

Hi and thank you @HelloooJoe ! With .NET MAUI 9 almost out the door, I do have more time to spend on this. I'm absolutely open to collaboration on the project.
I'd like to lay out what I think could be a plan forward for this HybridWebView project:
Update the code to be more closely aligned with the code that's shipping in .NET MAUI 9
Eventually have this code derive from or otherwise customize what's in the official .NET MAUI project
This could necessitate changes to what's in .NET MAUI to enable customization/extensibility (there's almost nothing customizable right now in what's in .NET MAUI due to not having time to design/implement such things)
Go experiment with all kinds of new ideas!
For right now I'm trying to just get a small update out the door to fix the cases where it's just completely broken, such as on iOS/MacCat 18, and anything else that might seem critical.
And of course I'd like to hear what others are interested in, either via the existing issues in the repo, or any other new topics/areas/discussions. If someone would like to collaborate even more closely I'm happy to set up a call and chat about any technical things about this control as well.
