I believe it's the same problem as #10185
I rolled back to 1.0.216, and everything goes well, so it's a problem imported by the latest version.

I'm facing the same issue with v1.0.219 but only with multiple sessions.
Switched back to 1.0.216 which is working well

Same problem on ubuntu 24.04 with version V1.0.29 ,
I do a connection via ssh on debian server :
If I'm using multiple sessions/tabs, the vi command freeze the whole tabby window and I have to kill the process,
but it works wih only one session/tab : no freeze

I had a similar issue. I've been using Tabby on a mac for months without an update. Decided to update to v1.0.219 a few days ago. It would randomly lock up with a white screen and I had to force close. I went back a few versions and it's working fine now. I'm on 213.

same issue on macOS, easy to reproduce when using vi/vim.
