Events not showing in thunderbird after accept by invited

When I create an event without invitations it shows fine in tb and in outlook web calendar.

When I create an event with invitations it initially shows fine, but at some point it disappears. I believe that it happens when the invite is accepted by the invited person. Strange thing is it still shows fine in outlook web calendar.

Let me know if there is anything I can do to track down the problem.
