On dosemu2 no fdconfig.sys > 512 bytes supported?

I think that under dosemu2 FreeDOS has difficulties if the fdconfig.sys is larger than 512 bytes. I suspect this is because the configuration code reads the file incrementally, but dosemu2 redirects the DOS drive to its MFS redirector so it is no longer possible(?) to read from the drive? Feel free to experiment with this.

lDOS and MS-DOS read the entire configuration into memory at once, then operate only on the buffered copy. Thus I think they have no problem with device drivers that change the boot drive's properties.
