Can we restrict resource ids and sof_ids in references to uuids?
In the case of custom string ids in the source, we can use UUID v5 to transform it to UUID.

Why?

• size on disc
• different sources aggregation

Isn't the UUID part of FHIR server capability req?

It's just a common choice by many implementers. For reference see Resource.id and the id datatype description - nothing is mentioned about UUIDs.
