At our events last weekend, we showed the bracket display during certain downtimes between playoff matches, but most notably during the interim between alliance selection and M1. While this display is up, it would be nice to also have the time remaining until the next playoff match (the one highlighted on the bracket).
Describe the solution you'd like
Add the remaining time in the timeout to the Bracket display. At our events, we used OBS to overlay a portion of the Field Display, which folks seemed to like.
This could also be extended for other uses, i.e. #808 could just have a small graphic in the corner like what we did for the bracket, that animates in and out to show the time in the corner on an overlay display.
Describe alternatives you've considered
Another volunteer suggested having the timer in the lower third with the event name/location.
