We ran 2024 with videobox 2, which consisted of a laptop, USB hub, hagibis capture card based on ms2131, and an USB 4-port NIC/switch.

We want to update this for 2025 (which would be version 2.5), to:

replace the laptop with a SBC
add display to the box
add an audio mixer in the box
add a power supply in the box

Also, on the software side:

make sure what we need works (encoding, streaming)
make sure it's stable :)
handle the new display
provide API to control the audio mixer
provide a way to transport audio between two boxes between the audio mixers, over the network

Encoding works fine, even if the board downclocks to 1ghz and is overheating.
