What Operating System

Windows 10

Debug Code

(dbg:yJD3uDVz8Qc)

Describe the bug

Launcher vers 1.26.5

FTB stopped logging in automatically sometime in the last few months. I can log into and play vanilla java no problem. I am logged into my microsoft/xbox accounts in browser. I copy the code from ftb, log in to the microsoft prompt, and get the message saying your are logged into FTB, it is now safe to close this window.

FTB returns the error "Auth:71, No game ownership found for this account." Have been through a couple system restarts and several iterations of this merry go round.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Sign in to your microsoft account in FTB app
  2. Copy and enter code to allow access
  3. enter password for my microsoft account that works with vanilla minecraft
  4. let this app access your info: Feed the Beast? --Accept
  5. All Done! You're now signed into the FTB app. It is safe to close this window
  6. FTB app: auth 71. No game ownership found for this account.

Expected behaviour

ftb should be logged in

Hay, thanks for the issue! Unfortunately it looks like you've not provided a Debug code... We require this as it helps us find your issue as quickly as possible.

Please do the following

Upload Logs using the app

Open the Settings page in the FTB App, then go to the app tab and click on the Upload Logs button, this might take a few seconds to complete. Once it's done, you will see a message saying that the code has been copied to your clipboard.

Either edit your original issue or add a comment with this code.

Using the FTB Debug tool

Only use this method if asked to or if your app wont open fully/the above method doesn't work, you can use the FTB Debug tool to generate a code for you.

Please use the link below to download and run the FTB Debug tool. This is a tool built by our App Developers and will provide you a code that you need to attach to this issue. Please either edit your original issue or add a comment with this code. If you need more help running this tool, you can follow our guide on how to use the FTB Debug tool.

Upload app logs has failed three times. FTB debug returned code dbg:yJD3uDVz8Qc

I've read through this thread but none of the solutions seem to apply to me. #1199

So, unfortunately, I can only go off of what the logs are telling me, which is that the account you used to login to the app with doesn't own minecraft as it received a 404 response on the request to https://api.minecraftservices.com/minecraft/profile

What I will suggest is making sure you are logging in with the correct email address

Thanks. It's the email address I use for vanilla, but something screwy seems to be going on with my accounts. A different username pops up when I log into MS, a username that I created for MS flight sim 2020.

If you try going to: https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/msaprofile/mygames/editprofile this is the minecraft account name change URL. So if you log in with the correct MS account, it should show whatever MC name you're expecting.
