[BUG] mouse pointer over apps icons cause panel displaying flickering

hi,
i try it on wayland and x11, but on both the behavior stay the same, if i move my mouse pointer hover apps icons, panel start flickering and stop immediately when i remove mouse pointer from apps icons.

Thank you again for the report.

I never used the extension in a vertical panel, so I think the issue is related to that. I will try to investigate and update the issue.

Unfortunately I think it will take some time as I am pretty busy right now.
