hi there i've tried for hours to get your patch working, i've used the forcing the patch like you say using v6 or v7 but it is still not working I still get the same message "The code is still the same.. Patch did seem to run, but was probbably from the wrong version.."

At this point I have tried v6 and v7 a large number of times aswell as restarting computer etc,

If you could get back to me asap I would highly appreciate it as I cant use my new curved monitor as there is flickering lines all over the screen!

Many thanks

If you could give the md5’s it would help to see what’s going on.. also you can use the old patcher: https://github.com/Floris497/mac-pixel-clock-patch

But don’t patch double because that can corrupt the IOKit and will result in you needing to reinstall macOS (your files will be fine, but no guarantees)

ive got the same issue as this previous issue someone had, however when I force it with either v6 or v7 it does not do anything I just get the same "The code is still the same.. Patch did seem to run, but was probbably from the wrong version.."

Thanks Floris, who knew getting a ultra wide curved monitor could be such a huge pain in the ass.

Hm, maybe there has been another patch needed for this version.. I don’t have a lot of time to check it.. is there no way to update to newer MacOS? 🙈
