10.15.6 crashing after wake

Experiencing issues when waking from sleep and external display connected - external display does not switch on and it is necessary to open macbook pro to activate on laptop screen before external display 'wakes up'.

This usually works but on several occasions - nothing is displayed on either Macbook or external display and the macbook restarts. Example of errors after reboot below.

I've only applied this patch before these have been occuring. Is it fair to assume that it is due to the patch?

This continues to occur.. I presume there is no answer to this.. :( Am I the only person experiencing this issue?
