User Submitted: Can we pull relevant publish information via version history API into FigLog?

I really like FigLog because I can put my change log widget right next to my component. I see the benefit and intend to use it more on my project.

I'm currently leaning into Figma version history. I'm quite strict with myself, I use a semver-like principle and I'm careful to describe changes with each publish so I can easily scan through my history.

Now.... what if we could combine the two somehow?

Have you explored the Version History API? Could we pull relevant publish information into the FigLog widget?

If I publish a colour change and it impacts lots of components, I need to also publish all the respective components. If I've written my description in the version history, I don't really want to manually write another description in FigLog, especially if my change impacts lots of components.

• Could FigLog automatically update all the widgets to present this change and reference back to the item in the Figma version history?
• Is it even possible to associate a specific modified component with a specific FigLog widget? Or is it just disconnected notes?
