The single player campaigns will include adventure maps that the players can explore for various purposes by using one or more heroes, which will be able to walk around or use mounts (and some even vehicles).

Riding skill
Planeswalker - increased movement points
War Master - mount abilities are upgraded
Specialty - increase special effectiveness

Each realm has two hero classes, that can learn to ride and are able to mount different units after being obtained and tamed. Mounts can show during combat without being materialized, therefore offering advantages:

  • no plasma points required, providing the hero extra protection
  • no need for materialization allows the hero to make another unit
  • no materialization sickness, being to act the very first round
  • the passive ability of the unit is upgraded without waiting time

Each mount has an unique ability that's usable only in the adventure mode, referred to as special.
There are some creatures that will only be mountable by certain heroes only, which are marked as unsuitable.
