Getting Started

1. Go to the Releases page and download the latest version.
2. Extract the downloaded zip, and run wmvx.exe

Troubleshooting

1. Check you are using the latest WMVx version.
2. Check you have the latest Visual C++ redistributable installed, included in release or from https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist
3. Ensure you are loading the correct 'World of Warcraft' directory.
4. Ensure your game client version is compatible with WMVx - In the client choice dialog, the detected version is shown. If the detected version doesnt match the chosen profile, data files are unlikely get loaded correctly.
5. Check the issue tracker - The problem your experiencing could a known issue.

Reporting issues

When reporting issues please include a detailed description of the problem, and include your wmvx.log file (its in the same directory the app is ran from). Useful info to include:

• WMVx version used.
• Game client version.
• Affected model name.
• Problem that is happening & and the desired behaviour.
