About license

Hi ,
Can the project license change to lgpl,we want to make some contribution. But the license is gpl, can't used by our closed source project.

Gstreamer. Ffmpeg, vlc ,live555 all of them use lgpl .

the license of the project won't change in the near future unless there is a major reason to do that. We are curious about which sort of contribution you have in mind, maybe we can provide some feedback about it.

Also, we are open to discuss collaborations with other companies and also explore dual licensing options. We can further discuss it in separate email if you are willing to.
