[Feature request] - Create a FreeCAD interface

Not specific porblem but related to current dependance on FreeCAD.

Describe the solution you'd like

Separate the FreeCAD interface which in the future will better facilitate possible transistion away from this dependancy.

Describe alternatives you've considered

Keeping as current which is working.

Additional context

There is some questions of how robust FreeCAD is which is currently relied on for handling/operations in CAD. This uses OCC engine which may be better to link to directly.
