at the moment we serve a lot of stuff to the user in the test data folder. We should talk about enhancing this test project and/or delete it from the official plugin version so the download will be much faster.

what we need for testing:
several layers in diffferent projections and styles
wms-services
wfs-services with different styles and projections
raster data in diffferent projections/filetypes

100% agree. We can include a QGIS project file as well. We need shape files, rasters, and WFS layers, and single, categorised, and graduated styles.

there is already a qgis project file included ;-)

Oops - never noticed it as I only ever open layers, so didn't see the project file.
