Mask elements missing from allowed excludefields

I am trying to understand, why some elements I create via the mask BE module are missing from the be_groups non exclude fields list while others are listed.
I don't see any possibility to set an exclude as it is the case with TCA.
What could be the reason that an element is not included there while I do see it in the be_groups explicit_allowdeny list?

Could you please provide some more context? Mask elements, screenshots demonstrating your issue?

I've never heard of such a problem before. Every element and every field should be editable in the permissions of be groups.

Attached are two config files, one for a text module and one for a teaser module. The teaser module shows up in the group permissions, the text module doesn't, as shown in this screenshot

But these are inline tables (repeating field), not the Mask elements themselves. The elements are to be configured at the very bottom in this view.

Well the list at the bottom includes the very same elements, so for example the text module is missing there aswell.
