3.08c Can't find slingbox #171
-
First off, thanks Gerry for doing this project and sharing it. Great work. Looks like I can keep using my beloved 350 into the future. As soon as I got it going I went out and picked up another Slingbox350 for $20. Not sure what I'll do with it but happy to have it. I'm running 3.07 on a Raspberry Pi Model B Rev 2, and its been running very well. $ python3 -u slingbox_server.py
$ python3 -u slingbox_server.py

I had a hunch that the slingbox wasn't being found because its on port 5202. |

How did you determine the IP address for the new 350? |

Sure, in my router configuration I can see the slingboxes and allocate IP addresses statically to them and put those addresses in the config.ini files, and I'm done. Thanks. |

I'm okay with this result (got my python default up to date :) but I don't mind at all if you want me to try some other patching/testing to get to the bottom of it.
