Hacker Alert trying to get video stream running #217
-
I saw at least one other discussion with "Hacker Alert" in the subject, but that was a person who successfully got a video stream going and was having problems with sending remote commands. My situation is different: I can't get a video stream going. Slingbox server comes up, but when I try to stream the following URL in VLC I get a Hacker Alert message in my command prompt window every few seconds: Network stream: http://192.168.1.124:8080/sb500 Console messages
Hacker Alert. Invalid Request from ('192.168.1.124', 62939) Hacker Alert. Invalid Request from ('192.168.1.124', 62940) Hacker Alert. Invalid Request from ('192.168.1.124', 62941) config.ini file contents [500] [SERVER] |

The name field (sb500) is just used for the server logs and is useful if you're not using the unified_config.ini. It will default to 500 if left unspecified
