Windows 11, Python 3.11 and netifaces >> Encountered error while trying to install package

Hi,

I am currently leaving my attempts to run from my Synology NAS, thinking I might get a quick 'win with Windows'.
I started off reading the negative comments with Windows 7, and thought I would go with the Python executable.
Unfortunately I have failed with the installation of required packages, namely netifaces, which appears to be deprecated (as reported by pip).
Is there a requirement to use an earlier version of Python?

You don't need it if you have properly configured the proper IP addresses and port numbers for your slingbox(es).
Install the Wheel package. BTW this wouldn't happen to be a AMD CPU?
You need python 3.8 to run on Windows 7.

I think I may have to forget about netifaces and just modify config.ini as suggested, or probably just use the .exe.
(this is only an interim setup before I head back to Synology NAS)

I have installed/updated wheel and setuptools, and I believe I need to install C++ as directed. I found installing and using Microsoft C++ Build Tools confusing, but I have installed Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2022 Redistributable (x64). However, I get the same failure as above when trying to install netifaces :(

FYI: It is Intel i5 (8th gen)
