Perfect 2x zoom, not currently possible

Currently, whatever amount the zoom is increased by each increment, it makes it impossible to have perfect 2x zoom. You either under or overshoot true perfect scaling, leading to subtle, but noticeable (at least to me) distortion. This is most easily observed on rose's Gamefaqs articles (such as page 1942), but is present on all pages. I am viewing on a 1080p screen.

A fix that makes it possible to zoom to exactly 2x would be greatly appreciated. A little display that briefly pops up in the corner when you zoom to tell you the current level of zoom would also be appreciated.

Lack of precise control over zoom is also something that bothers me a lot, I have Windows set to 125% zoom and there doesn't seem to be any existing zoom setting that makes things 1:1 resolution (for me that would be 80% zoom, and it seems like the closest available setting is 83.3% zoom).
