Currently we use a version constraint of the form >= 5.0.0 which allows major upgrades to happen. The recent release of version 5 of the provider broke a few modules and impacted a few users as the upgrade to v5 happened automatically.
This issues is to discuss whether it makes sense to change our default constraints to >= 5.0.0, < 6.0.0 as shown below:
